Konstantin Weitz was given a violin at the age of four and studied one year later with Josef Drevo at the Vienna Academy of Music (today MdW). At the age of 11 he was engaged by the ORF for the television series "Musik kennt keine Grenzen" (Music knows no borders) through a selection game.

Afterwards he had lessons at the Conservatory of Vienna (today MUK) with Thomas Christian (student of J.Heifetz), occasional coachings with Peter Guth (student of David Oistrakh, afterwards in Finland with Heimo Haitto, Nachum Erlich (student of Max Rostal), Sergei Kravtshenko (student and assistant of l.Kogan, teacher of Viktoria Mullowa, S.Krylov). Master classes with Thadeusz Kochansky, Valery Klimov and Max Rostal).

During his studies he also played jazz, folk and pop music: in the jazz string quartet "Tonquelle" with Fritz Pauer, the pop band "Misthaufen", the Dixieland band "Jazz Ambassadors", the Chikago Blues- Soul Bands Small Blues Charly and Dujmic Blues All Stars.

He graduated from the Sibelius Academy with a diploma and the title Licensiate of Royal Academy, London (L.R.A.M.).
